One Mortgage System has integrated Instamo’s FastSubmit technology into its platform, allowing brokers to use information already held in the CRM when progressing an application into lender portals. Instamo says the integration could save an average of 26 minutes per case by reducing rekeying.
This is a practical example of where AI-adjacent automation and connected workflow technology can deliver value now: less administrative duplication, fewer opportunities for transcription errors and more adviser capacity for fact-finding, suitability and client communication. Mortgage Brain’s integration of Assurant Intermediary into CRM Brain similarly shows how protection discussions are being embedded closer to the mortgage journey.
Firms should treat time savings as a control opportunity as well as a productivity gain. Data transferred between systems still needs validation, audit trails and clear responsibility for the final submission. Automation can prepare and move information, but it does not remove the adviser’s accountability for accuracy, suitability or customer outcomes.
