AI Case Management Reaches Lenders

Mortgage technology is moving from search and sourcing into case progression. Nivo has launched an AI-powered case-management service for intermediated specialist lenders, designed to coordinate applications from initial broker enquiry through underwriting and completion. New Leaf Network has also renewed its Twenty7tec partnership for a further three years, underlining the continuing importance of adviser technology ecosystems.

The immediate potential is operational: extracting and chasing missing information, routing cases, producing updates and reducing repetitive administration. This could be particularly valuable in specialist lending, where packaging requirements are complex and turnaround times can determine whether a broker retains a case.

Advisers should nevertheless assess data security, audit trails, accuracy, human escalation and Consumer Duty outcomes before relying on AI workflows. The strongest use case is likely to be AI handling routine coordination while advisers and underwriters retain responsibility for advice, judgement and vulnerable-customer considerations.
