This Cookie Policy explains how Mortgage Lab AI Ltd (“Mortgage Lab”, “we”, “us” or “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on mortgagelab.ai (“our website”).

What are cookies and similar technologies?

Managing your preferences

The available controls allow you to accept optional categories, reject optional categories or save a selection. Essential cookies are shown separately because they support necessary website functions or remember your privacy choices.
You can change your preferences at any time. Withdrawing permission affects future use of the relevant technologies; it does not automatically erase information already collected.
You can also use your browser’s settings to block or delete cookies and other website storage. Blocking essential storage may prevent some features, such as signing in, from working correctly.
Our consent controls recognise the Global Privacy Control browser signal and use it to disable the marketing category. This does not replace the other choices available in Cookie preferences.

An asterisk (*) marks the part of a cookie name that is unique to our website. A session cookie normally remains until your browser session ends. Some browsers may restore session cookies when reopening a previous session.
Analytics cookies and browser storage
We use analytics to understand how visitors find and use our website, which content they engage with and how the website can be improved. These technologies run only if you allow analytics in Cookie preferences.
Connect Stats
Connect Stats is our first-party website statistics service. Its tracking script associates page views and exit events with a browsing session.
The information submitted by the script includes a session identifier, page address, page title, referring page, first referring page and an internal page identifier.

The browser storage lifetime is separate from how long information is kept in our analytics records. We keep Connect Stats records for 14 months.
Google Analytics
Google Analytics is configured through Google Tag Manager to measure website use. This includes page views, scrolling, downloads, searches, form interactions, video engagement and outbound links. It also includes an event for clicks on selected sponsor links.
Google Tag Manager, which loads Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity on our website, runs only if you allow analytics.

Embedded videos and third-party content
Our website includes videos provided through YouTube.
Loading an embedded video connects your browser to YouTube. YouTube may receive information such as your IP address, device information and the page from which the video was loaded. It may also use cookies or similar technologies for playback, preferences, measurement and advertising, depending on your settings and its service configuration.
Rejecting the relevant optional category may make embedded videos unavailable until you choose to enable them.

Where information is processed
Our website is hosted by IONOS on servers in the UK. WordPress account information and Connect Stats records are stored on that server.
Google (Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and YouTube) and Microsoft (Clarity) may process information in the United States and other countries where they or their service providers operate. Our Privacy Notice explains these international transfers and the safeguards that apply.
A cookie’s domain identifies where it is associated in the browser. It does not, by itself, establish the country in which information is stored or processed.
Browser controls
Most browsers let you view cookies and other website storage, delete existing cookies and stored data, block some or all cookies, and restrict third-party cookies.
Instructions are available in your browser’s help or privacy settings. To remove localStorage, you may need to clear the website’s site data rather than cookies alone.
