AI CRM Integration Cuts Mortgage Admin

Adviser IQ is integrating L&G’s Ignite sourcing platform, allowing advisers to access sourcing without re-keying case data or maintaining a separate login. The development is a practical example of where AI-enabled adviser platforms can create value: reducing duplicate data entry, shortening research workflows and improving the consistency of case records.

For mortgage firms, interoperability is becoming as important as the AI feature itself. A joined-up workflow can leave more time for client discovery, affordability discussions and the explanation of product trade-offs. It may also reduce operational risk caused by inconsistent records across CRM, sourcing and compliance systems.

Before implementation, firms should test data mapping, permissions, audit trails, data-minimisation practices and the quality of outputs. Under Consumer Duty, efficiency gains should translate into better customer outcomes—not simply faster processing.
