Paragon Bank research indicates that 38% of mortgaged landlords expect to refinance at least one buy-to-let property in the next 12 months, refinancing an average of 2.9 loans. The remortgage pipeline is set against a tougher backdrop: landlords face Renters’ Rights Act changes, a developing rental-property registration regime and reported increases in tax on property income from 2027.
